Parades & Kids of All Ages

Life has been so busy these days, what with travel, holidays, birthdays, and cats!

It’s all good, though – so much to see and do, there’s never a dull moment.  I will be sharing much of my happy chaos in posts to follow.  For now I’d like to show you scenes from our local Independence Day parade.  Parades bring out the child in all of us, from the firefighters and police who lead with their vehicles flashing lights and blaring sirens, to tough-looking bikers, revving their engines.  To me, they could be kids in a bike rodeo, the enthusiasm and spirit are the same!

Here are some of the images I captured of kids, young and old, from our parade on the Fourth.  Enjoy!
