If you are following my blog, you received an email yesterday about a post titled “#827”, and you may have wondered, “What the heck is that about?”. So I thought I would let you know what happened.
I was trying to put Flag Counter on my blog, but apparently it was inserted into a new post. Here I was looking for it, having no idea where it could be, and it got posted! And I have NO idea why it was called #827…I don’t know if it’s a good number or a bad number, or if I should play that number in the lottery. It’s a mystery to me. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know! 😉
In any event, I deleted that post and, after going to a WordPress forum, learned how to properly insert Flag Counter onto my blog site. It may take a couple of days for it to begin working accurately, but it will be interesting to see where you, my visitors and friends, are from. The numbers won’t reflect past visitors, but I think it will still be interesting to see the country flags as we go forward. It serves to remind me that, through the technology of computers and the internet, we live in a smaller and better connected world. And, to me, that is a genuine simple pleasure.
